We love the Korsteel Stainless Steel Jointed Eggbutt Gag Bit because it effectively applies mouth and poll pressure when used with rolled cheek adjustments helping to lift a horse off it’s forehand.  The Eggbutt Gag Bit is also known as a Cheltenham Gag Bit.  

• The gag action of this bit provides leverage and poll pressure to the horse
• The eggbutt rings prevent the bit from pinching the horse’s mouth
• The single joint applies a nutcracker action which applies pressure to the tongue, the bars of the mouth, and the horse’s palate
• Encourages the horse to lift off the forehand
